We are concluding this blog series about our 5 Senses relating to Beauty with Taste. However, what would we talk about with taste when we are recommended not to try these products with our mouths??? Lets explore taste as in what we like or dont like, aesthetics.

Taste is developed, not learned

We all have different taste when it comes to the 5 Senses of Beauty

As we age, we realize we’re not quite as tuned into whats “cool” or “hip” like our young adults and teenagers. As an instructor for The Salon Professional Academy in Fort Myers, I notice that these young kids just seem to know whats cool, without researching or looking. These future hairdressers and estheticians just instinctively know or can easily spot whats trending. They are still developing their taste, and evolving very quickly with whats exposed to them.

Looking for the right Beauty School for Cosmetology or Esthetics?

If the school has similar values and taste, the learning becomes much more natural. When the tastes collide, our minds tend to shut down to the information. Example would be learning a haircut that you think looks ugly, because you dont want to do it.

Foundation first, then add your flavor

In our hairstylist course, you learn the foundations, then move into advanced education. Advanced education is when we start to learn trends and how to expand on the foundations. Our educators make sure that whats taught is as practical and viable as possible. Our students are encouraged to add their “taste” to their work to make it unique and personal.
