The Salon Professional Academy Fort Myers is a Beauty School focusing on Cosmetology and Esthetics Training

Our school is called The Salon Professional Academy, or also known as TSPA for short. We are a Beauty School but some call it Cosmetology School, Esthetics School, Beauty Academy, or Beauty Training School. We use and carry mainly Redken products and color, Dermalogica, Sam Villa Tools, Kasho Shears, etc.

You may be thinking , “How are they different from other Beauty Academy and Beauty Schools around me?” All the local Beauty Schools, Academy, and Training Centers have one goal in mind, to have our cosmetology and esthetics students graduate and pass their boards to become licensed. However, most salons will agree that students fresh out of school are lacking the skillset needed to work in the salon or spa, which means longer training programs to add, or possibly undue old skills.

Teaching the Foundations of Cosmetology and Esthetics

Our intention and point of difference is to set our students up with the foundation and principles that never change, so they can use that to elevate their skillset as they transition to a salon or spa. To do that, we have set up a very thorough curriculum along with guidance from our expert educators. Every educator LOVES what they do, and we want to convey that message to all of our students so they can enjoy their career, not dread it.

We teach our students that they do not learn EVERYTHING in Hair Academies and Skin Care Programs as a student. You need to combine the foundational knowledge, research what manufacturers are offering, and keep taking advanced education. Graduating Cosmetology and Esthetics school is actually only the beginning to your learning as a professional hair or skin specialist in the Beauty Industry.
